In this role as an SQL Developer with a specialization in BI, you'll be the go-to guru for crafting and fine-tuning SQL queries and procedures. Your main gig? Extracting and analyzing data to fuel our reporting and business intelligence efforts.

Picture yourself collaborating closely with our data squad, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand their needs and whip up some seriously efficient SQL code and data models.

You'll be mingling with teammates and clients from all walks of life, spanning South Africa, France, and the UK. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SQL-based solutions for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Design, develop, and optimize QlikView/QlikSense applications for data visualization and analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand their needs for BI solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for BI solutions, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Optimize SQL queries, procedures, and functions for performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI solutions and SQL databases.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in BI and SQL technologies.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), and legal regulations.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience as a SQL Developer, with a focus on BI development, preferably with QlikView/QlikSense.
• Strong proficiency in SQL programming for data manipulation, querying, and optimization.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining QlikView/QlikSense applications for data visualization and analysis.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration tools.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications in SQL or BI tools are a plus.
