Our virtual gaming products are accessible through various distribution platforms, such as online, mobile, gaming machines, satellite broadcast, and local render within gaming venues.
Job Overview:
As a Technical Lead Front End Developer, you will be responsible for enhancing and expanding our product portfolio and assisting system architects in implementing new development features and improving existing products. You should have a passion for creating new game products and features, with a primary focus on mobile web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review Pull Requests from other developers to ensure code adheres to standards, poses no security risks, and is efficient and easy to understand.
- Ensure all TypeScript and JavaScript code follows tslint standards.
- Perform code reviews and provide DevOps support.
- Develop software (write code) and resolve software bugs.
- Constantly review and refine architectural guidelines and coding best practices.
- Provide technical guidance/input while unpacking new features.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
- Assist the Software Development Manager with identifying technical gaps of team members and providing training suggestions where required.
- Stay up to date with new technologies and trends and analyze the feasibility of adopting them.
- Provide technical guidance to contractors where required.
- Assist with interviews where required.
- Maintain and manage positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively at all management levels with clients/stakeholders.
- Make recommendations to improve client service within the area of responsibility.
- Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders.
- Positively influence and participate in change initiatives.
- Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional and industry knowledge.
- Take ownership for driving career development.
Minimum Requirements:
- Skilled in JavaScript, jQuery framework, and TypeScript framework(s).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and HTML5 canvas render with layering to build composite scenes.
- Expertise in Angular and RXJS.
- 7 years of experience at the intermediate level and/or 1 year at the senior level with relevant experience.
- Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming best practices.
- Extensive knowledge of source control, unit testing, code verification, and documentation, including use cases.
- Experience in system integration with 3rd-party systems.
- Object-oriented code and RXJS subscription-driven patterns are not negotiable.
- Web services experience.
Advantageous Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Bootstrap, Azure Git, Azure DevOps, Azure Build and Release Pipelines.
- Proficiency in Agile software development methods.
- Experience working with graphic and creative teams.
- Real-time transaction system development.
- Scalable system development to ensure efficient processing of high load.
- Experience in the gaming and/or betting industry.
- Web canvas engine development.
