Job Opportunity: Integrations Support Engineer

We are hiring an Integrations Support Engineer for our innovative Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) company. Job Overview:

As a Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing technical support to our customers. You have experience with databases, have built a few Postman collections, and done some scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or VBScript. You enjoy working with people, have great communication skills, and excel in time management. You will be one of three Support Engineers in the team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and live chat in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to customer solutions built on our platform, such as workflow integration designs.
  • Document and track customer inquiries and resolutions in our ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with the development and projects teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Proactively identify and suggest solutions to improve the customer experience.
  • Stay up to date on the latest developments and features of our platform.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cloud computing and web-based applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, particularly ConnectWise Manage, is helpful.
  • Experience with SQL and scripting is a plus, aiding in support and primarily troubleshooting queries.
  • Basic understanding of query syntax and performance optimization is important.
  • Experience with Postman to create, organize, and execute API requests effectively.
  • Skills in building Postman collections, organizing API requests with different HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), configuring headers, parameters, and request bodies.
  • Proficiency in using Postman environments to manage variables such as base URLs and authentication tokens across different stages (development, testing, production).

Optional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Azure is advantageous.
  • Background in C# development or similar is beneficial for supporting and troubleshooting scripts.
  • Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for database interaction.
  • Experience with automated testing is advantageous, though not mandatory.
